2. Jing’an Temple
 
Jing'an Temple is one of the most famous temples in Shanghai which is located at West Nanjing Road, the flourishing downtown area of Shanghai. In 1983, it was put on the list of key national protection. The temple has a history of more than 780 years. There are three main halls here: The Mahavira Hall, the Hall of Heavenly Kings and the ThreeSage Hall.
Jing'an Temple is a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of crowds in downtown Shanghai. 3. Yuyuan Garden
 
Yu Garden is believed to have been built in the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. 4. Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower
 
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. Surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, it creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. 5. Shanghai Bund Historical Building
 
Formerly the HSBC Building and the People's Government of the Municipality of Shanghai Building. Currently it houses the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. Construction began on May 5, 1921, and completed on June 23, 1923. It was built in the style of neo-classicism in China and designed by the British architecture firm, Palmer & Turner Architects and Surveyors.
